Summary
- We only sell products imported by the official importer of the relevant brand, hence all our products carry their full manufacturers warranty.
- We do not sell grey imports. We do not import any of the products ourselves. We do not service any of the products ourselves. The exception to the later statement is, if we assemble a product and there is a fault in the assembly, rather than in an individual component, we may service the product ourselves.
- All defective products under warranty are sent to the relevant supplier or official service for repair or replacement.
- Please use the My Products & Warranties section to track your product warranty expiry dates and find useful information about what to do in case you need support for any given product.
- Unless stated otherwise, we cannot honour a product warranty if the product has been physically damaged, struck by lightening, installed incorrectly or subjected to misuse or abuse in any way.
Warranty: Frequently Asked Questions
-
Something I bought from you broke, what do I do?
Please double and triple check that there is indeed a fault with the product. If you are uncertain, please contact us and we will help to confirm if the product is faulty. If the fault is confirmed, we will arrange a courier to collect the product from you.
-
I need to ship a faulty product back to you, how do I do that?
We realise that faulty products cause a lot of frustration; we have put a lot of effort ensuring the return process for such products is as easy and painless for you as possible. Please go to the My Products & Warranties section of your account and follow the instructions.
-
I need to ship a faulty product back to you, do I have to pay for the shipping?
For genuinely faulty products under warranty, we cover all the shipping and re-shipping costs involved. For products out of warranty, you have to pay the shipping costs (both ways), but we will still organise everything needed to repair your product at no additional cost.
-
My PC/notebook/portable hard drive/memory card is faulty. Will you preserve my data stored on it?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the preservation of your data and there is a good chance it will be lost. We ship all faulty products to the respective service centres, and it is outside our control what happens there. Also, in some cases a faulty product could be replaced with a new one, thereby losing all your data.
Please note that we cannot be held liable for any data loss whatsoever. If you have valuable data on your device, we suggest you contact a data recovery company to get the data off first. Note that this process can void the warranty of the product, if seals or warranty stickers need to be broken by the data recovery company.
