Early 2006 in-house research was conducted in the field of online shopping in South Africa. The results of this research indicate that South Africa is lagging behind approximately 5 years compared to several first world countries. A number of significant issues in the area of online shopping were identified and based on these results of the research conducted, Nivo Interactive Shopping project was launched. We at Nivo believe that we can set the standard for online shopping in SA based on our technical and functional superiority.
