Strengths: Allows for both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives to be connected to a PC easily.
High transfer rate with the USB 3 interface.
Weaknesses: Heat from the drives can be a big issue.
Insertion of a 2nd drive while powered on results in the 1st drive being disconnected for a moment.
Removal of a drive while powered on is not advised.
Best uses: PC/Mac backup where you want to rotate the drives.
I recommend also: UGT-PC302 2-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Host Card
Not what you would expect
The product looks and sounds amazing but suffers from one big issue - heat. Also it sounds like it supports plug 'n play hard drive insertion and removal, it doesn't.

Rather buy a separate hard drive chassis for each drive.
