Sony Handycam-HDR-CX130 HD Digital Video Camcorder

The Sony HDR-CX130 Full HD Flash Memory PAL Camcorder puts full 1920 x 1080p high-definition recording at your fingertips, complete with a range of useful features and functions. Storing everything you record onto handy SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards or Sony's proprietary Memory Stick media, the camera demonstrates a remarkable ability to capture brilliant HD video and stills, even in low light.

A wide angle Sony G lens (with 42x extended zoom) and sensitive 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor make two important contributions to the quality of the 50p and 50i footage. At the same time, a 3.0" touch screen LCD supplies a generous platform on which to compose and review your shots. It also rotates up to 270°, allowing for shooting from difficult angles.

A slew of other features is available to help capture your memories. Shooting controls such as Intelligent Auto take the guesswork out of recording by automatically setting the camera to the right combination of scene modes. Features like Tracking Focus allow you to set the camera to focus on a selected subject. And Golf Shot mode captures a few seconds of motion in up to 22 still images, allowing for a detailed breakdown of the event.

Of course when the shooting's over, the work isn't quite done--which is why Sony provides editing software with the CX130 for making the most of your videos. And when your masterpiece has been polished, the software will help you upload it to the Web for sharing on sites like Facebook and YouTube.
