PROSVery fast and continuous AF in Live View and HD movies, High resolution articulated screen and decent EVF, Fast continuous shooting up to 7fps, Multi-frame to reduce noise, increase DR or create panoramas, Continuous AF and stabilisation on entire Alpha lens catalogue
CONSSome light permanently lost due to semi-reflective mirror, No live image between frames in fast continuous bursts, Modest buffer size: approx 14 best quality JPEGs, Most Alpha mount lenses focus quite audibly in movies, Some will notice rainbow tearing artefacts in viewfinder

Disappointing Pics
A VERY amateur photographer, I am a bit disappointed with this camera. I got much better shots from my Sony A200. After pressing the shutter release very often this camera seems to pause and process before actually snapping the picture - this means that a moving subject was no longer in my frame! Read more ...
PROSnice, small size; video feature; swiveling LCD screen; LCD screen or view finder can be used for shooting; menus, settings can be read in viewfinder (nice for bright situations
CONSEATS BATTERY LIKE CRAZY. TWO ARE A MUST. If you are traveling where there is no electricity to recharge (like in Africa) and plan on taking lots of shots, two batteries will be dry in two days - without taking any video.
