The Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG telephoto zoom lens is an outstanding lens in this category, an excellent optical performer with Optical Stabilization and a high speed Hyper-Sonic Motor to help you shoot amazing photos. Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements provide optimum color correction & sharpness throughout the entire zoom range. Rear focusing system corrects for fluctuation of aberration due to focusing. Compatible with the Sigma APO Tele converters. Its reach relative to its size makes handheld photography easy to track moving subjects and it fits easily in most common camera bags for the ultimate convenience. Features

Optical Stabiliser

This telephoto zoom lens incorporates Sigma’s original OS (Optical Stabiliser) system. It offers the equivalent of using a shutter speed approximately 4 stops faster.

Incorporated with SLD Glass

Three SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements provide excellent correction for chromatic aberration. This lens is equipped with the rear focus system that minimises fluctuation of aberrations caused by focusing. It provides optimum image quality throughout the entire zoom range. The super multi-layer lens coating reduces flare and ghosting. High image quality is assured throughout the entire zoom range.

Minimum focusing distance of 150cm

The minimum focusing distance of 150cm throughout the entire zoom range and has a maximum magnification of 1:4.2 make it useful for close-up photography.

HSM

This lens incorporates HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), which ensures a quiet and high-speed AF as well as full-time manual focus override.

Compatible with Sigma APO Tele Converters

The addition of the optical 1.4x EX DG APO or 2x EX DG APO Tele Converters produce a 168-560mm F6.3-8 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens or a 240-800mm F9-11 MF ultra-telephoto zoom lens respectively. (See the Compatibility Table for information.)

Detachable tripod collar

A removable tripod collar and matched lens hood is included as a standard component.

• For Pentax and Sony mount, OS function is not available.
• If the camera body does not support HSM motor, AF will not work.
• Nikon & Pentax Mounts: Does not have aperture ring.
• The Pentax mount teleconverter is not compatible with this particular lens.
