Strengths: fast
Weaknesses: not all programs use hyperthreading, if you are not using it as heavy multitasking cpu, e.g. you play games then a 2500k is better value for money i recon.
Best uses: do it all at once
I recommend also: 2500k
fast very fast
great thing. running fast, tons of apps open, e.g. running big backup and playing latest games at same time while waiting (off different hdd though) without making a difference in performance (my old q6600 used to struggle). Easy to overclock running at low constant voltage at 4600 stable.

Great chip
Running like a charm. Easy to over clock and fast. Runs cool in idle mode and kicks ass in turbo.

Ultimate Power House!
This processor is a great deal for the amount it costs. some people might prefer to go for the old 1366 socket for the top of the range i7's but this little processor on the new 1155 socket is quite a monster! Currently I'm running at 4.8GHz stable on air cooling, with no issues at all (Prime95 stress tested) it really is a beautiful little invention
