Do Not Purchase!
I cannot believe that HP did not do a recall on this model, the thermal shutdown occurs so intermittantly that you are afraid to use it for anything other than web browsing because you will lose all your information. It could go days without an issue or happen several times within one hour. Read more ...

best bang for your buck easy to work on
I love this laptop. Hp always tends to make laptops that are easy to fix and customize. It loads fast and multi- task well. I havn't had a problem yet and have own for 3 years. The only thing I wish they would have done is make the power cord outlet either an L shape or put it in the back. Read more ...

Thermal Shutdown never ends
Laptop is elevated, has a cooling system underneath and no dust clogging anything. I've even used another program to clock the temperature and the laptop keeps giving me a scrambled screen then does a shutdown. Read more ...
