Fuji Finepix F80 EXR
The Fuji Finepix F80 EXR introduces a more compact 12 megapixels EXR sensor compared to the F200EXR in order to provide a longer 10X optical zoom lens. The new sensor seems to be faster than before as it allows both 720p video-recording and a few clever multi-shot modes. Read more ...
PROSBest image quality in an ultra-compact, Low image noise up to ISO 800, Highest dynamic range outside of a DSLR, Great lens sharpness, Reliable exposure, Manual controls in an ultra-compact, Excellent stabilization, Fast and responsive, Good LCD visibility, Good build quality
CONSComplex interaction of features, strange limits, Interface somewhat twisted, Useful but limited continuous drive modes, No physical aperture, Quite poor battery-life, Mode-dial easy to change accidentally

I read a lot about the award winning EXR technology before deciding to buy this camera. I was also hoping that all the bad users reviews were not real. I bought it for my wife for the highly advertised EXR auto mode that suppose to be great for point-and-shoot photo. Read more ...

Not the fuji's I've had in the past
Pictures are very grainy and sometimes blurry. I've owned several Fujis in the past and never had this problem. I contacted Fuji and made a change to the settings but it didn't help much. Read more ...

Innovative EXR Sensor + Very Good Zoom Range for Low Price
The F80 gets dissed on some review sites because Fuji added a couple megapixels from the F70 sensor so it produces more noise then its predecessor - according to them, at high rez, high ISO shooting. I can't speak to that, never having owned the F70. Read more ...
