The for 5-bay RAID enclosure that utilizes the widely available new USB3.0 and performance orientated eSATA connections to provide over 200MB/s in data transfer. With built-in RAID0, 1, 10, 3, 5 with hot-spare, and JBOD, it provides hardware RAID redundancy protection against data loss due to hard drive failures. A brand new RAID mode, CLONE or N-Way Mirror, is introduced to easily replicate the saved data throughout each installed hard drive.

Not just any screw can be used to hold the hd.

Awesome Product
I highly recommend this product. It looks stylish and very easy to setup.

There is no manual for the device save for a cd. Regardless, it is not very difficult to get it up and running. Set the dip switches at the back (there is a diagram to explain). Plug it in and you are good to go.

The box also comes with a usb 3.0 cable, esata cable and a sata => esata adapter. Those without esata ports can still use this product!

Performance is as expected, I get 70MBytes copying from my internal HD to the enclosure. When copying from within the enclosure itself, the speed is halved to 35MBytes.

The fan of the unit can be heard if the room is quiet, but is easily drowned out.

The only problem I had with this was that you cannot use just any screws to hold your hd into the bays. You MUST use a low profile screw otherwise it will hit the sides when you try slide it in.

Overall a good product!
