HS SYSTEM

The HS SYSTEM comprises of a 10MP high-sensitivity sensor (back illuminated) and Canon's renowned DIGIC imaging processor allowing photographer to capture full resolution images with vivid colour reproduction and drastically reduced image noise even in tricky light conditions without tripod.

12x optical zoom in world's slimmest body

Features a wide-angle 28mm 12x optical zoom lens in the world's slimmest* body. The IXUS 1100 HS boasts a wide field of view and great zoom ratio, giving users the flexibility to shoot photographs with wide scenes or simply zooming in on subjects to capture more details.

3.2-inch LCD screen with touch shutter

I bought this camera for our upcoming trip to Italy. We wanted something light but would get great pics. This one does. The seller we bought it from saved us about $40.
