Slim, light, and profoundly elegant

Careful engineering has achieved an ultra-light and ultra compact form factor without leaving out usability or performance. At an average height of just 22mm and weighing only 1.5Kg (using a 4-cell battery), the U32U is easy to carry. Sporting a stylish etched hairline aluminum finish on the cover and gorgeous brushed lavender application elsewhere, it's an eye-catching notebook that's as fun as it is satisfying to use.

AMD Brazos and ASUS Super Hybrid Engine deliver compact power

Driven by AMD Brazos, the U32U offers users the efficiency and capabilities of the Fusion architecture, integrating the CPU and GPU on one component for better notebook performance. Graphics are by a new generation AMD Mobility Radeon™ HD 6000 series GPU, with full DirectX® 11 compatibility for better multitasking and multimedia.

This is further improved by exclusive ASUS Super Hybrid Engine technology, which utilizes the efficient design to provide true 2-second on resume with smartphone-like spontaneity. It also offers an extended 14-day standby mode to keep work and content safe even while on vacation, and a prolonged 10-hour battery life so all-day computing is more than possible.

ASUS IceCool ensures constant palm comfort

ASUS exclusive IceCool technology keeps heat away from users with a special thermal design that dramatically lowers palm rest surface temperatures. Even during long usage sessions, discomfort is averted.

A multi-gesture touchpad allows user to do more with intuitive haptic control, while to make input even more enjoyable, ASUS has included palm proof technology with the U32U to prevent accidental typing through errant hand movements.

Faster data and recharging

USB 3.0 comes standard, and works up to ten times faster than USB 2.0, managing a massive 6GB/s in data transfer rates. The U32U also ships with USB Charger+, a powered ASUS USB port that recharges devices quickly even when the notebook is powered off and with less power consumption than regular USB ports.
